Returning Citizens | Veterans

How We Help

Our services are tailored to meet the needs of ex-offenders, veterans, senior citizens and others in diverse situations, who face common challenges as they settle back into their communities and cope with change.

We offer temporary housing allowing individuals to get counseling, education, job placement, education advancement, and learn life skills prior to being reintroduced into society independently.

Our goal is to help offenders find jobs and housing once they are released from prison so they can become productive citizens.

We are helping people who have been in prison by teaching them how to be better, so they won't go back to prison.

Our Story

Our roots began with our founding member, Ms. Lamiesha Phillips, ministering to those behind bars in 2018.

She realized how impactful her time with the inmates was when one man who was on a verge of committing suicide requested to talk to her, as a cry for help. After their many conversations and support, he no longer felt condemned. He went from being confined to maximum security to working in the kitchen.

This is when Ms. Phillips understood the need for support services for inmates and returning citizens.

People are willing to lean in for support

if they know where to look.

The safe haven we provide is a place where those who need help do not feel judged or condemned.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to reduce recidivism by providing a safe, supportive environment where individuals can develop marketable skills and prepare for successful reentry into society.

Our Testimonials

OUR IMPACT

Cris W. (Oklahoma Prison)

I'm so happy that God placed you in my life at the right time. It was Under God's Care that changed my life when I was down and out, lost with no hope for a future, and thinking the only way out, is to do as Judas did. But you brought God back into my world and joy to my life with your caring and loving heart, you showed me what it's like to have a true friend who will move mountains to make sure I was good.

You changed a dark hard heart that was not capable of love, affection, and compassion for others. With your faith, prayers, love, hard, work, and God my heart softened to where I was more open to a change in my lifestyle.

I'm so thankful that you have a great heart for people like me in others that are lost and never had any family to talk to. Every time I called you were always there for me no matter what time
